Both A and J were home from school and work last Wednesday. While A went back to school today, J took today off, too. Sigh. I am ready to have the house to myself and to do even the most mundane chore in peace.
I have noticed that since I became a stay-at-home mom, I treasure my alone more than ever and too much togetherness gets tiresome after a while. I guess the Thanksgiving break is a test run for Christmas, when there will be at least a whole week when both A and J are home every day, and my mother will also be here. Maybe I do covet a 10,000 square foot house after all - at least I could hide and reasonably expect not to be found for a few hours!
One more day.
