James put up our hummingbird feeder on Sunday, thinking that it might be time for those feisty little birds to return. When I got home from jewelry duty today, I glanced out the kitchen window and saw a little female hummingbird having a little sip. Yay! They are back!
Of course, I am having to remember to bring in the feeder every night, so the raccoons don't knock it down and damage it more than it already is. Besides, I don't want some poor raccoon to take a dive off our second story deck trying to get at the feeder!
