Aidan at work, part 2

At MacKenzie-Childs' Take Your Child to Work day, Aidan decorated two flower pots and a mug that needed to be fired before he could bring them home. James picked those items up on Friday:

Beautiful! I especially like how shapes were applied to the flower pots to create a tonal effect:

The pots were still pliable when he embellished them, so he was able to carve his name into the bottom:

One of the flower pots is designated (and inscribed) as an end of year present for his teacher, but the other one is for us.

He also painted this coffee mug, on which James has called dibs:

I like that he also painted the inside of the mug:
