Well, to be honest, it was not yet night and while there was wind and drizzle, it technically wasn't storming. But trick or treating conditions on Hallowe'en 2009 were less than ideal; with temps in the low 50s and the wet, chilly wind, Aidan was forced to wear a jacket over his costume.
Aidan chose to be Luke Skywalker for Hallowe'en this year but what it really all came down to was that he wanted a light saber. That is right, it was all about the accessorries, a concept I totally understand. So I bought the light saber (complete with realistic sound! and lights!) and then kluged together a cheap but identifiable Luke Skywalker costume. He loved it, as the photos show:



It is good to know that if Darth Vader ever attempts to invade the house, I am protected.
