May the Force

It was a dark and stormy night.

Well, to be honest, it was not yet night and while there was wind and drizzle, it technically wasn't storming. But trick or treating conditions on Hallowe'en 2009 were less than ideal; with temps in the low 50s and the wet, chilly wind, Aidan was forced to wear a jacket over his costume.

Aidan chose to be Luke Skywalker for Hallowe'en this year but what it really all came down to was that he wanted a light saber. That is right, it was all about the accessorries, a concept I totally understand. So I bought the light saber (complete with realistic sound! and lights!) and then kluged together a cheap but identifiable Luke Skywalker costume. He loved it, as the photos show:

It is good to know that if Darth Vader ever attempts to invade the house, I am protected.
