Everybody loves Grandma

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, my mother came down from Knoxville to attend Aidan's district Pinewood Derby race. She arrived on Thursday and left to go home this morning.

Both the human boy and the feline boy in our house absolutely adore Grandma, and competed for her lap (and attention):


Just as I saw her car pull into the driveway on Thursday, I heard a loud thump from upstairs as Spenser jumped off the chair on which he had been soundly sleeping - he was so eager to see Grandma that he raced down the stairs and was waiting by the front door before I could even get there!
