No wonder the feeder runs empty so often!It was not only funny watching the resourceful rodent hang upside down, but when the hummingbirds got angry and started dive bombing him, the fun really started. Hummingbirds are NOT patient and tolerant, to be sure.

We hang our finch feeder on a 'shepherd's crook' which is a 1/2" round bar about 6' long and curves over at the top into a hook where we hang the feeder. We love to watch the cheeky squirrels try to climb the metal bar only to get about 2 feet up whereupon they slide right back down to the ground onto their butts - much to their shock and surprise. I definitely recommend it for your hummingbird feeder.
