With only two days of school left, can we really expect anything academic to take place at school? Today was Fun in the Sun day for the kindergarten classes. They packed their sunscreen, beach towels and water bottles and had a few hours of play outdoors. I wasn't able to get many details out of Aidan except that there was face painting (see below), snow cones, picnic lunch, tossing of beach balls and bubble blowing. And fun! Lots and lots of fun. All in all, not bad for school.
I adore the t-shirt that he was wearing when he got home. Each kindergarten class decorated t-shirts with self portraits!
That is Aidan, on the upper right hand corner of the shirt, and for some reason known only to Aidan, he painted himself as green. Artistic interpretation, perhaps?
